Dashiell Rae, the creative force behind temptracks.com, is an award winning feature film music editor with over 15 years experience in film music composition and editing in the UK and US. She is sought after for her creative and innovative temp scores and unique American/European perspective with regard to music and film.
Dashiell began work first as a classical music editor learning the craft from Tim Handley, Tonmeister and Grammy award winning classical record producer and engineer. Her move to feature films came in 1997 when composer Ed Shearmur brought her on board to help on Miramax's The Wings of a Dove.
Film credits include Gladiator, The Hours, and Changing Lanes among others. She received an EMMY Award in 2002 for HBO's Band of Brothers. Dashiell is also a composer in her own right and was awarded an RTS award in 1996 for "Best Original Score" for the S4C/HTV drama "All Mixed Up". In 2008 she composed the logo music for the Rovinge Motion Picture Company, PLC.
